  1. Go to Services and Subscriptions and sign in with the Microsoft account that you used to purchase your subscription.

  2. Find your subscription and select Manage out. If Activate recurring billing instead of Manage appears, skip to the Troubleshoot section; otherwise, skip to step 3.

  3. On the next page, select depending on your subscription type Cancel or Upgrade or cancel out.

  4. Follow the instructions on the page to proceed with the cancellation.

Note:In Israel you have the right to cancel any recurring billing subscription with immediate effect and receive a prorated refund. For more information, see Canceling a Microsoft Subscription in Israel.

Resolving issues when you can't cancel your subscription

If Manage not on the side Services and Subscriptions appears, or if you can't cancel or turn off recurring billing, try the following steps:

  • Make sure you're signed in to the Microsoft account that you used when you purchased your subscription.

  • If Activate recurring billing instead of Manage appears, your subscription will expire on the date shown for your subscription and you do not need to take any further action. Select under the name of your subscription Manage to view details about your subscription.

  • Check if a payment method needs to be updated. If so, we will let you know when you visit the Services and Subscriptions page. Go to Payment Options to troubleshoot issues.

  • For our full cancellation policy, see Microsoft Store Terms of Sale.
