Hello everybody,

I am planning a 3-week solo trip by car through the US Southwest in September. The route should look something like this:

DAY 2 - San Francisco

DAY 3 - San Francisco Overnight somewhere on the coast

DAY 4 - Drive towards Yosemite - Overnight there

DAY 5 - Yosemite - Overnight there

DAY 6 - Yosemite - Mono Lake - Overnight there

DAY 7 - Mono Lake towards Lone Pine-Death Valley - overnight there

DAY 8 - Death Valley - Panamint - Overnight there

DAY 9 - Death Valley -Furnace Creek-Zabriski Point-Overnight there

DAY 10 - Death Valley -Furnace Creek-Zabriski Point-Overnight there

DAY 11 - Zabriski Point towards Las Vegas - overnight there

DAY 12 - Las Vegas towards the Grand Canyon - overnight there

DAY 13 - Grand Canyon - Overnight there

DAY 14 - Grand Canyon - Overnight there

DAY 15 - Grand Canyon towards Monument Valley Overnight there

DAY 16 Monument Valley - Overnight there

DAY 17 Monument Valley towards Antelope Valley - overnight there

DAY 18 Antelope Valley towards San Franciso via Highway 40 - overnight on the route / motel

DAY 19 Return to San Franciso via Highway 40 - overnight on the route / motel

DAY 20 Arrival in San Francisco - overnight there

DAY 21 Departure from San Francisco

Thought that 3 days should be enough to relax from Antelope Valley to SF, right?

Does anyone have any tips? Is the trip too short? Would be my first trip to the USA. Up to now I have "only" experience of Europe. I drove 8000 KM in 3 weeks ...

I would appreciate great answers.

Maybe someone even wants to come along?

Best wishes

Udo
