How can I add a project to Github

There are two ways to add projects to the group.

1 Create a new project in the group

In the view of the respective group click on New Project. After you have created the project, it is assigned to the group and listed in the project overview of a group.

2 Add the group path as a new project path

When you create a new project, select an existing group as the project path. The project is now created within the group and can be reached via the path

Transfer existing projects to a group

You can transfer an existing project to a group as long as you are the owner (Owner) or master are.
To do this, go to in the project view in the left side menu Settings. Click in the category Advanced Settings on Expand and scroll down to the option Transfer project. In the drop-down menu you can select a group to which the project is to be transferred. Then click on the button Transfer project

Please note that you have to change the namespace in the local repositories because the namespace of the project has changed. You will receive an email to do this with instructions and the git command to run. This has the following structure:

Allow access requests

You can allow external people to request access to a group. To do this, click in the group's left side menu Settings and put the hook at Allow users to request access.
