1) With a declaration of July 18, 2003, the Federal Republic of Germany objected to the accession of Guatemala in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 3 of the Convention.
By declaration of July 18, 2003, the Kingdom of the Netherlands objected to the accession of Guatemala in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 3 of the Convention.
With a declaration of July 23, 2003, Canada objected to the accession of Guatemala in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 3 of the Convention.
By declaration of July 23, 2003, Spain objected to the accession of Guatemala in accordance with Article 44 (3) of the Convention.
By declaration of July 23, 2003, Great Britain lodged an objection to the accession of Guatemala in accordance with Article 44 (3) of the Convention.

2) With a declaration of May 24, 2004, the Federal Republic of Germany objected to the accession of Guinea in accordance with Article 44 Paragraph 3 of the Convention.

3) By declaration of February 13, 2005, the Kingdom of the Netherlands objected to the accession of Belize in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 3 of the Convention. With a declaration of August 29, 2007, the Kingdom of the Netherlands withdrew the objection.

4) With a declaration of November 28, 2006, the Federal Republic of Germany appealed against the accession of Mali in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 3 of the Convention. With a declaration of February 8, 2008, the Federal Republic of Germany withdrew the objection.
With a declaration of June 2, 2006, the Kingdom of the Netherlands objected to the accession of Mali in accordance with Article 44 (3) of the Convention. With a declaration of August 29, 2007, the Kingdom of the Netherlands withdrew the objection.

5) With a declaration of June 29, 2007, the Federal Republic of Germany filed an objection against the accession of the Dominican Republic in accordance with Article 44 Paragraph 3 of the Convention. With a declaration of July 31, 2008, the Federal Republic of Germany withdrew the objection.
With a declaration of January 18, 2007, the Kingdom of the Netherlands objected to the accession of the Dominican Republic in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 3 of the Convention. With a declaration of August 29, 2007, the Netherlands withdrew the objection.

6) With a declaration of November 7, 2007, the Federal Republic of Germany lodged an objection against the accession of Cambodia in accordance with Article 44 Paragraph 3 of the Convention.
By declaration of December 10, 2007, the Kingdom of the Netherlands objected to the accession of Cambodia in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 3 of the Convention.
With a declaration of December 13, 2007, Great Britain lodged an objection to the accession of Cambodia in accordance with Article 44 (3) of the Convention.

7) With a declaration of January 28, 2008, the Federal Republic of Germany objected to the accession of Armenia in accordance with Article 44 Paragraph 3 of the Convention. With a declaration of January 27, 2009, the Federal Republic of Germany withdrew the objection.
By declaration of August 29, 2007, the Kingdom of the Netherlands objected to the accession of Armenia in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 3 of the Convention. With a declaration dated December 28, 2010, the Kingdom of the Netherlands withdrew the objection.

8) With a declaration of September 27, 2012, the Federal Republic of Germany filed an objection against the accession of the Republic of Rwanda in accordance with Article 44 Paragraph 3 HAÜ.

9) With a declaration of February 28, 2013, the Federal Republic of Germany filed an objection against the accession of the Kingdom of Lesotho in accordance with Article 44 (3) HAÜ.

* Pursuant to Art. 44 Para. 3 of the Convention, the Convention is only effective in relations between the acceding State and the Contracting States that have not raised an objection to the accession within six months of receiving the notification provided for in Art. 48 letter b. The dates listed indicate the day on which the six-month period expires.
