How is the cloud server structured?

Hybrid cloud - a good compromise

Even if software can make managing a hybrid cloud easier, that is Administrative burden still bigger than the two alternatives. This effort also includes clearly defining which business areas are to be stored in which part of the cloud. Problems with the operation of a hybrid cloud can only be permanently avoided if you have a concrete plan. This plan has to be communicated to everyone involved and an effective rights system has to be established.

This is also related to the second major disadvantage of the hybrid cloud: the comparatively lower security. The mixed form cannot be as safe as a self-contained solution on site. However, in order to be able to guarantee the best possible data protection, a clear system must also be established with regard to security. If there is a risk of sensitive data ending up in the wrong sector, data security cannot be guaranteed. It is therefore necessary to develop and implement strategies that prevent improper use of the hybrid cloud or minimize the risk involved.

In addition, every company must carefully consider whether a hybrid cloud is needed at all. If your own data center is already part of the company and this is likely to be sufficient for the next few years, then outsourcing via a hybrid cloud is not necessary and only involves additional effort. On the other hand: A company that can entrust its data to a trustworthy hosting provider with high data protection standards does not need its own data center or its own private cloud, but is well served with the public cloud.
